Wachowski Brothers recorded Invasion
One of the best articles I’ve read in a couple of weeks comes from our friend over at Collider.com frosting. All this was done by none other than The Wachowski BrothersWhat he has discovered is that Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig upcoming movie called The Invasion (about an alien invasion-type) went through rewrites and reworking to almost two thirds of the film.
Ignoring individual views on the Matrix sequels, these are the guys who brought us The Matrix, to start and then did it again with V for Vendetta by bringing in his close friend, to direct the film - James McTeigue. Similarly, the report states that in collisions of this resumption of the film, they rewrote two thirds of it and then had run their new portions McTeigue
To trace the history, why all that happened was that Warner Brothers had taken a look at a first cut of the film was directed by German director Oliver Hirschbiegel call. They thought they needed work and planned re-recordings, but for some strange reason (that part that intrigues me) that he was “available” for the re-recordings, so that heavy weight (not in size but in power) producer Joel Silver brought his trusted friends
In summary, here’s the synopsis of this science fiction thriller action: The Invasion tells the story of a mysterious epidemic that alters human behavior. When a Washington DC psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman) discovers the source of the epidemic are extraterrestrial, she must fight to protect your child, which may be the key to stopping the escalating invasion
